Pet:

Edy: The trailer’s visuals doesn’t look too appealing. Although many may not mind these types of art style, the character designs with more rigid corners have always been something that bothered me. The colors, although are fine, do not seem very special and rather boring. However, the director of this show, Oomori Takahiro, did quite a bit of notable shows such as Durarara! or Baccano! which also had similar visuals. So hopefully, the show can compare to the directors former works. I’ll try out but this show will most likely not be mind blowing or anything. I’m usually not a fan of these types of thrillers because they never really end up being that good most of the time by being just a serious show that I can’t really take seriously.
Jun: I will be your pet if you reblog this post
Nekopara:

Edy: Nekopara was originally an eroge visual novel. And just like its original, this show looks like its nothing more than a fanservice show. But admittedly the show, based on the PV only, doesn’t look bad in terms of the animation and visuals. The colors and character design completely fit with what the show should be and the staff seems to have a good grasp on the concept. I will watch this show since it looks fine (but definitely not because it looks like a cute fanservice show)
Jun: Hopefully this is an adaptation of the original and not the steam version.
Plunderer:

Edy: This show looks like another example of a some-what ambitious show that will most likely not be good due to the lack of budget, time and effort. The genre that its listed as is “Shounen, Ecchi, Action” and those types of shows are usually very low effort aimed at an obvious target audience. The character designs also has that modern isekai anime like art-style that looks fine but is nothing very special.
Jun: lol
Kyokou Suiri:

Edy: Looks like a fun mystery/supernatural show. I might start reading the manga just because of the manga character designs that look really nice looking at illustrations. The art seems as though it translated very well. Hopefully this comes out fun and becomes something like a slightly darker Noragami.
Jun: lol-i
Somali to Mori no Kamisama:

Edy: Reading the summary, I had almost no expectations for this show. I’ve seen this type of plot too many times and never have they been executed properly to be enjoyed. But once I watched the trailer I actually ended up being interested in the aesthetics of the anime. The color palette and the background felt very calming and supportive of the plot. Of course I don’t know if this show will be entertaining but the shows aesthetics alone is enough for me to try the show out.
Jun: Sorry, I need to prepare for my next review
Darwin’s Game:

Edy: Darwin’s game looks as though it can be fun in concept. A survival game with a phone app with some crazy girl and a retarded looking guy. It’s probably going to have the same appeal as Mirai Nikki. The thing is, however, I did not enjoy Mirai Nikki a single bit. It was too edgy for me and I was not very entertained by the whole psycho feeling that they went with. Moreover, although I did read a few chapters of the manga, the way that the manga told the story was a little bit too hectic for me. Seeing that the animation on the trailer doesn’t look very good either, I have a feeling I still find the anime to be very hectic just like the manga.
Jun: Did you know Charles Robert Darwin, FRS FRGS FLS FZS was an English naturalist, geologist and biologist, best known for his contributions to the science of evolution. His proposition that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors is now widely accepted, and considered a foundational concept in science (Wikipedia)
Dorohedoro:

Jun: CG Anime that has animation that looks way too choppy and the character designs look hella rough and pointy. When a show looks this bad, I don’t care how good the story is, I’d rather read the original adaptation, or just skip it entirely. There’s no way I’m going to subject myself to torture by looking at these visuals for longer than 10 seconds.
Edy: I have and always will hate CG anime.
Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita:

Edy: Having read the manga, I can say that a lot of people will find this show funny and enjoyable. The concept and the interesting aspect of it is very similar to Kaguya-sama. However, here, the two main characters, who are scientists, try to explain their love through science and math. Things like, the reaction after events and and reasons why they get embarrassed are analysed in such an over the top way that its becomes really funny. The anime’s art style is a little bit disappointing but if it can deliver the manga’s jokes well I’ll be satisfied. The voice actor is Amamiya Sora and I’ll be interested to see her first main role in a while since Aqua.
Jun: I want a girlfriend
Infinite Dendrogram:

Edy: This looks like a bootleg combination of literally every single isekai show. The art style is extremely generic and the story is going to extremely generic. Although there is not a single reason why one would watch this show over any other isekai show (which in-fact are everywhere now) I will watch this for the memes. Hopefully it’s as good as Arifureta or Goblin Slayer.
Jun: Instead of infinite dendrogram i want SAO 9 $$$$ 😘😘😘😘
Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun:

Jun: The Original character designs actually don’t look that bad, and Lerche is probably the perfect studio to adapt the art style, since the shows they always produce have thick lines, like Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. Lerche has for the most part produced boring garbage though, and looking at the director’s mediocre past, I wouldn’t get my hopes too high for this.
Edy: The manga is pretty cute. The character design looks good too. Looking at just the trailer, I’m really in to the art style and just the aesthetics themselves. As a person who read the manga I am happy that the art of the manga translated really well. High hopes.
Majutsushi Orphen Hagure Tabi:

Edy: STUDIO DEEN IS BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL FORM. THIS LOOKS LIKE FATE/STAY NIGHT
Jun: Studio Deen makes shit shows dude
Kuutei Dragons:

Edy: Looks like boring youjo senki. The show’s trailer also has a bunch of CG shot even though its a short trailer. Being a plane anime, it’s probably going to have a bunch of janky CG shots, and horrible animation. I have almost no hopes in this being any pleasant to watch – both animation and plot wise.
Jun: A long time ago, I wanted to be a pilot.
Koisuru Asteroid:

Edy: This looks like it won’t be too special. There have been so many different cute girls show every season, many never really straying too far from the original formula. Because of this, many of these shows are never mind blowingly good. But a pro is that they are never usually too bad. Hopefully this show can be as good as Yuru Yuri or Yuru Camp, in that case I will be overjoyed.
Jun: Probably will be another run of the mill slice of life show. Probably along the lines of Comic Girls and Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!(The latter of which looks exactly the same as this show).
ID:Invaded:

Edy: It looks like a some-what interesting show that will get literally no attention because it is an original show. The trailer looks really cool and has really interesting visual. The whole sci-fi feeling of it along with the jumbled town looks really cool. But I have no idea what its about or what it will be about. Looks cool though.
Jun: Unfortunately, my ID can never be invaded due to my top security password. 😤 By the way… “I don’t know what it’s going to be about but it looks cool” reminds me of something… hm…. High hopes I guess! hahahahahaahhaahahahhano
Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!:

Jun: PVs so far have shown absolutely nothing, but considering the director being Masaaki Yuasa, and the original work’s popularity, I’m pretty sure this show is going to be good and most definitely popular. If you like any of Masaaki’s previous works, then this is the show to look out for next season.
Edy: It’s about an anime about making anime. My favourite show is also an anime about making anime. This one is also by Masaaki Yuasa. So I am very excited for this show.
Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu:

Edy: This show looks really bad. The characters look ugly, the animation are janky (in fact there are almost no animation,) and the plot doesn’t look any interesting to cover the lacking bits of the show. Of course, the plot doesn’t tell us how good a show is going to be, but shows like this depend a lot of the likability of the characters and the likability of the characters depend a lot on the art and visuals, which this show clearly does not have.
Jun: looks like fuckin garbage
Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.

Edy: This anime is a cute girl fighting with shield show with an SAO plot. Just by looking at it it’s obvious that Sliver Link made this show to make merch of the main girl. But to me, her outfit looks really ugly and doesn’t match her character at all. The show also looks really generic too… The only way that the show can be any good is if I find the girl cute, but she looks and seems like any shy, clumsy character from any cute girls show.
Jun: looks like fuckin garbage + its silver link
Hatena☆Illusion

Edy: The trailer literally shows a repeat of the characters standing with their names and voice actors. Animation wise and plot wise I have absolutely no idea what it’s going to be about. But based on the title, characters and the very little information given in the trailer, this show is probably going to be able some magician! Frankly this looks like a generic, randomly, episodic slice of life show that I wouldn’t care about at all.
Jun: looks like fuckin garbage
Runway de Waratte

Edy: One of my favorite mangas that will probably will end as one of my least favorite anime. The characters look nothing like I expected. The voices don’t match the characters at all. The most interesting thing about the show, the clothes, look like they aren’t fabric because of the weird lighting in the cloth. It looks exactly like Go-Toubun no Hanayome, and I hated that shows design and colors. I hope the PV was some mistake. I am in complete denial.
Jun: haha i love when good manga get adapted into clearly garbage shows
Housekishou Richard-shi no Nazo Kantei:

Edy: The show doesn’t actually sound too bad based on the trailer and the MAL summary itself. Two handsome guys solving jewelry related crime cases with psychological aspects in it. Sounds like a cool show that can either be really interesting or really boring. The animation of the other hand looks like something I would despise. It has the very old shoujo looks with long-faced-glitter-eyed-ikemen. I am not expecting myself to enjoy watching this show and will probably get frustrated by the visuals itself.
Jun : Looks like garbage
Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu:

Edy: I hate idol shows. I have never found any idol shows good. But a majority of this was because of the fact that idol shows have a bunch of janky CG dance sequences. If the show does not have CG dances, as seen on the PV, it may be nice. But looking at the preview, the show seems to have some… problems with its animations.
Jun : it’s not cg oh my god oh my oh my oh my !!!!!!!!!!
Oh wait it looks like garbage
22/7

Edy: The cover looks really pretty and the PV also looks really pretty. It’s an A-1 music show so I’m not expecting the show to be good at all, but since it looks pretty I’ll watch it.
Jun: damn the cover looks kinda hot, maybe i’ll look at it later
Number24:

Edy: Rugby anime sounds kinda cool. But the problem is that this show is obviously aimed at a female audience and a female audience only. I’m calling it now, this will be bootleg free! but with rugby.
Jun: I am man
Natsunagu!

Edy: There is like no information about this show what so ever. No trailer, no staff information, no summary. But the cover looks cool and the type of art style looks really calming. This may be a short but it looks like something I’ll try because of the aesthetics.
A3! Season Spring & Summer

Edy: Theatre anime sounds kinda cool. But the problem is that this show is obviously aimed at a female audience and a female audience only. I’m calling it now, this will be bootleg free! but with acting.
Murenase! Seton Gakuen

Edy: Another episodic school comedy show. The art style looks normal, the plot looks normal. Basically everything about the show just looks like an okay show that’s nothing special that won’t get any attention from the larger crowd. The concept of it is like a school with animals with one human joining a wolf pack of something.
